My Story
I’m Robert Hamady, and I’m a writer with a particular interest in consciousness. I am a lawyer and strategic planner with a degree in philosophy.

I wrote You Are Some Piece Of Work because, after watching my father succumb to a brain tumor, I came to the realization that we don't produce our actions even though we may be certain that we do.
​
In two parts, I break down six compelling neurological studies that indicate it is our brains--and not our will--that produces our actions. That is followed by the six principal features and the wonder of consciousness. In this quick read, you may find yourself questioning what you know about your self and marveling at your average day.
